Dilip Kumar had said- ‘I don’t want to say this, but due to waiting for weeks and months for good offers, I used to get disappointed many times. Nowadays, people come to me with ready-made audio cassettes instead of good scripts. They expect me to copy the same.

Talking about his achievements, he had said- ‘I haven’t even started yet. A lot had to be done, but we have to work within the framework. For good performance you need good films, themes, characters. We have developed everything but we do not have modern literature as per our country. We have ignored our culture. Cinema shows all this. I wish I got to play some good characters. An attempt has been made to improve what we have.
